Gold & Silver Forum - I Must Have Been a Good Boy....

As part of our Christmas ritual, we wrapped a few presents to put around the tree - all part of the show for the kids. We're both pretty practical, and buy pretty much what we want when we need it or see it on sale, so there's not much room left for Christmas shopping for each other. So we just take something we've recently bought, wrap it up, and label it to/from each other or from Santa.

So tonight, the wife asks if there's anything I've bought lately that I can wrap up and put under the tree. I say, "Sure," and go to the safe and pull out one of my Dracos, still in the box. She sees the box and asks what it is. I tell her it's Draco - like Draco Malfoy. So then I open the box so she can see it, and she says, "When did you get that?!" I tell her, "a couple of months ago."

Then she says, "When are you going to stop buying guns?" My reply was, "When all of those oppressive fascists have been removed from our government." That caught her off guard, and then she just laughed and said, "You know, you won't be able to quit your crappy job if you keep buying these things."

Then I said, "So, this is from Santa, right?" She says, "Santa doesn't give guns!" I smugly shot back with, "Santa brought me my Lancaster Arms AK-47 in Russian Red last year. Remember?" That also made her think for a minute, and then she says, "Okay, Santa doesn't give guns anymore! It's from me!"

I just love this season!! {{Sniff!!!}}
